Custom HG 1/144 WIP- GN-011 Gundam Harute

My take on the silly space boots Gundam.

Now, for a quick guide for transparent parts.

step 1: Stick Bandai's yucky sticker onto some gold foil. You're gonna want the kind with paper backing and adhesive.

step 2: Cut the foil according to the shape of the yucky sticker and peel off. Toss it in the trash because it's so yucky. Then paint your clear part in the pretty color you want it in.

step 3: Stick that foil onto your part. Don't worry about any rough looking cuts. There's a lot of refraction going on at the edges of the clear part, so unless you mess up big time, it'll hardly be noticeable.

 step 4: Snap on your clear parts and be amazed.

So I work extra hard to make sure the GN Condensers are nice and shiny. But what's this? It get COMPLETELY COVERED by the front skits!!

 With the stock build done, it's time to move onto the silly space boots.
